Providing ultimate comfort and safety in public transportation for millions of passengers in more than 50 countries, Otokar recently delivered 30 buses to Georgia, soon after winning the contract opened by the country’s Ministry of Internal Affairs. Since adding Georgia to its export markets in 2020, Otokar has succeeded in growing the vehicle park in the country to more than 200 buses in as short as two years.

Otokar, a Koç Group company, continues to stay ahead of international competition with its innovative buses. Otokar, with vehicles manufactured with nearly 60 years of industry experience and preferred by clients in more than 50 countries, including Turkey, for their design, durability and technology, recently won the tender for 30 buses opened by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia. The order was delivered soon afterwards.

After signing an export deal in 2020 for 175 buses as part of the transformation efforts launched to meet the increasing public transportation needs in Georgia, Otokar succeeded in growing the vehicle park in the country to more than 200 buses in as short as two years. The Otokar Kent and Navigo buses, currently used by six municipalities in Georgia, continue to receive praise from the users. The 30 new Vectio buses, delivered as part of latest contract, will carry the personnel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
