Otokar to export natural gas-powered buses to Romania

Turkey’s leading bus manufacturer Otokar continues to maintains its high momentum in exports. With modern buses operating in over 50 countries and offering comfortable and safe travel for millions of passengers, Otokar most recently won the tender opened by the Ramnicu Valcea Municipality in Romania. Sixteen 12mt natural gas-powered Otokar Kent C CNG buses will be delivered to the city to serve the people of Romania in 2022.
 
Otokar, a Koç Group company, continues to grow in the European market with its public transportation buses. With more than 35 thousand buses operating in over 50 countries, primarily in Europe, and offering comfortable and safe travel for millions of passengers, Otokar most recently won the tender that the Ramnicu Valcea Municipality in Romania opened to purchase 16 natural gas-powered buses. The delivery of the 12mt Kent C CNG buses, designed and manufactured by Otokar, with its experience in alternative-fueled vehicles, will be completed in 2022. Otokar will also provide maintenance services for the buses for five years/350k km.
